Dr. Laurie Mueller is the founder and CEO of Impact Writing Solutions, a company created in 1999 out of a passion for communications and language. With a solid background in education, marketing, and healthcare, she has been writing professionally for over a decade.
After receiving her Bachelor’s Degree in English from Iowa State University in 1990 she traveled extensively, spending nearly 1 year in Osaka, Japan as an ESL instructor and English tutor. She earned her Doctorate Degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1997, and has served in private practice. She has worked for 11 years in academic administration at the collegiate level as the Senior Director of Continuing Education for Palmer College, and as Dean of E-Learning for the Eastern Iowa Community College District. She is also a graduate of the highly acclaimed Accelerated Copywriting course and Healthcare Writing course presented by the American Writers and Artists Institute in Delray Beach, Florida.
Dr. Mueller combines her expertise in education and copywriting with her marketing and healthcare backgrounds to generate effective copy for a wide variety of professional projects.
